She lived down the street
And never came out, 'cept on Halloween
I think she stayed in
'Cause she was so mean

I went to the door
On this dark spooky night
Would she pass out candy?
Or give me a terrible fright?

Gonna brave it here
Walk slowly up to the door
She gave out hands full of candy!!
Just more and more!

I looked up to say, "Thank You!"
But, she made me SCREAM!!
I had never seen ANYONE
with skin so green

She wasn't all that tall
Actually kinda short
And right on her nose
There was a big ol' wart

I ran as fast as I could
All the way home, yes I did
And when I got there
Under my bed I hid

Thought I better go back to apologize
So, the next day I took on this task
After all, I over reacted
It was only a mask

I knocked on the door once more
In the light of dawn
OH MY GOODNESS
She NEVER DID have a mask on

"Come in my pretty" she said so smooth
I'd love to have you for breakfast today
"So long witchy woman, I hear my Mom callin'
And then I RAN AWAY!!!!!

The moral to this story?
Halloween comes but once a year
BUT......
Witches are around everyday, I fear

:-)

BOO!!
