Let's you and I do nothing today
We will just go in the field
like children and play
Run through the grass
filled with beautiful wildflowers
We can talk and laugh
Just while away the hours
We cannot be serious all the time
Life's too short, don't you know
Before you know it...
it's gone
We need to let our imagination go
Come with me
Take your shoes off
Let's walk through the stream
Or lay on the grass, watch the clouds
drift by, as we dream
Smell the wonderful fragrance in the air
What's wrong with acting like children
without a care
We can catch butterflies
then let them go
Run and follow them
Where will they lead us...
I don't know
But, does it really matter
when you want to have fun
To escape from the problems
when your life comes undone
That is what we will do today
I just insist that you go We are going to have some fun
I will not take, "No"
I will not listen...
I don't want you to complain
You're coming with me
There is a field of wildflowers
out there....
