What is it about New Year's Eve
People act like they are really cool
Kickin' up their heels and actin' silly
Just like kids still in school



Then in the morning
Oh Boy.........
They remember who they are
But they can't remember the party
much less where they parked their car



Their vision is blurry
They can't get out of bed
The room is spinning
There's a hammer in their head



They can't seem to remember
What was said or what was done
They don't even remember
if they had any fun



They get a little too happy
and get even bolder
What's there to celebrate ????
We're all another year older !!
