This terrible sin

When will people learn
the meaning of peace
and reach out to your dove

Make it stop
Send down your angels
to hold us together with love




When will people see
the brainwashing that is done
They are told it is in the name
of their gods....
This is a victory won




They teach their young children
to carry a gun
They strap a bomb onto
their own skin
When will this ever make sense

We are falling down on our knees
Looking up to you in heaven
Our tears still carry the reflection
of that terrible day.....
