Music comes from the inner being
Felt by the heart seeing
Beauty that gladdens the soul
As the ear hears its expression bold.



Musical voice soars high with tenor and soprano
Or sinks to the low of bass and alto.
Each is special to hear
And blended together is harmony clear.



Music has a voice in instruments as well.
The strains of a harp or violin
Touch our heart with joy with in.
The horn blended with the trombone,
the saxophone and the flute of the orchestra
Dance with the musical notes
of the opera in a story to tell.



The musical voice of nature
Heard from the bird song
As well as the tinkling brook or the surging surf
Not to mention the rhythm of the train
And the drip, drop of the rain
Sing a song of their own.



The musical voices of music are many fold
From the whistle to the drum
And even the hum.
Each is appealing to the soul.
