~TWILIGHT~
Left in the twilight of the day
Nightingale waits to sing
her good night song
There is an uncertainty about it
There is no sun
There is no moon
For they do not know where they belong
The day has past, it is gone
But, confused is the night
Is it time....No, not yet
The day is in limbo within the twilight
Daytime wonders....
Should I go or should I stay
But the horizon has your answer
It is pulling your sun away
Nighttime asks, "Do I make
my entrance now, I need to know"
The answer, "You must wait,
because the twilight still hides your glow"
My day is filled with things to do
but, you are always inside my mind
When the evening comes
and it is time for the night
I am frozen in time
inside the twilight
There is a longing for the sun
to sleep
There is a longing for the moon
to shine through
There is a longing inside my heart
As I stand within the twilight
waiting for you
