~ TRANQUIL MOMENT ~
We all need a tranquil moment
Just for sanity's sake
For fear of hostile takeover
A calming break you must take
Hostile takeover of what you may ask
What can be taken from me
It's the right to happiness and joy
The right to live your life free
You can't make problems go away
Sad things will happen too
But don't let your freedom of happiness
be taken away from you
Our life is short when we're looking back
We might wonder what can I change
Make a plan now for the time that's left
Some things you may need to rearrange
Don't dwell on what has happened
That's all in the past
Imagine now what could yet be
The memories you want to last
For when you think of all the yesterday's hurts
This is what you do
Yesterday's hurts are not in the past
You're making them today's hurts too
So here is a calming stream to sit by
Reflect on your future ahead
Don't think about the negative
Think on the positive instead!
