Friends and family gather round,
The turkey's sizzling in the pan;
let's stuff ourselves until we burst,
But be thankful that we can.



Grateful are we for this treat
And for the food that smells so fine;
For the company at the table,
And the cozy house in which we dine.



As you sit in the glow of candles
And bask in the pleasures of this day,
Remember to count your blessings
And cherish the bounty that comes your way.
