~ IT WAS THE YEAR ~
Christmas came around one year
Quite unusual too
The gifts were amazing, they really were
I tell you this, tis true
No computers, video games, inline skates 
How could this be fun?
No dolls or rocking horses, no watches or jewels
But, the Spirit of Christmas filled everyone
Under the tree, not one of "those" gifts
They were nowhere to be found
But, smiles were abundant
There was Happiness and Joy around
It was the year that Santa came
|
And he visited everybody worldwide
Making sure he did, no way would he stop
How could there be joy, without a toy 
Something most, would not even dream of
But, his bag was still full, yes it was
It was filled up with love
A Gift of Peace
No longer living in fear
A Big Beautiful Heart, given to EVERYONE
That's what was passed around that year
