~THIS I PRAY~

Dear Father in Heaven
You must have a plan
Is it something you knew of
since time began



There are tears in my eyes
with things I wonder about
Why do people have to get sick
The ones that I never want to be without

And so many I have lost
because mankind is trapped in sin
Do I dare hope Dear Father
to ever see them again



I fall down on my knees
day after day
Do you hear my words
As I look up to You and pray

Will there come a time
when all mankind might see
Where love will rule the earth
with peace and unity



You do know My Dear Father
in heaven above
Even though I have these questions
You fill up my heart with love

I will not be a judge of anyone
you see
But I do wonder why
the good suffer so.....
Is this really too bold of me



I will continue to look
to you for understanding
Righteousness I intend to keep
Please take care of us all
as you Shepherd your sheep

And perhaps one day, Dear Father
we will understand it all
These questions you will answer
when you send out your call
