They keep our country free
At great cost
Leaving family and friends
As oceans they've crossed

An ongoing battle
Is where they go
Independence is never free
These men and woman keep it so

We can say what we want
Do as we, pretty much, please
Free choice is ours
Because of THESE

Army
Navy
Air Force
Marines
Coast Guard
