~SPRING~

Awake Little Cherub of Spring
Winter's harsh days are gone
Awake sleepy one
to the sound of nature's song

Falling down from the sky
Dancing on petals .... tiny raindrops
Standing ovation from rainbow
across heavens gate
Gentle rain stops

Open your sleepy eyes
See all that is beautiful fill the earth
A tender touch from sun's rays
Summons the colors of Spring's rebirth

Awake Little Cherub
asleep inside the rose
The promise of Spring tells me
you are there
Open now the petals
as garden's perfume fills the air

Refreshed with rain
Sun kissed earth through the day
Evening shadows fall
Breezes in the night
rock petals with a gentle sway

Sleep now Little Cherub
Nighttime has come to you
Rest inside rose petals cradle
Slumber now....
till fresh morning dew
