So many times I sat and think
How wonderful it would be
If in our conversation
Your face I could only see.
The wonders of technology
In our finger tips each day
Your words I view upon my screen
So much we both can say.
I know it isn't possible
But one day it may be
That we can send an email
And our faces we will see.
Then who knows? One day it may happen
View each other on the screen
Just like being together
