"Come back to me"
she whispered
He didn't understand
Then the elderly lady
put a pocket watch into his hand



His name was Richard
She was Elise from out of the past
And so the story goes
of a love that would forever last



I walked along the path
where these two lovers met
They found one another
A love that time did not forget



He stayed at the hotel
and walking down the hall
He looked up and there she was
Her portrait hanging on the wall



He saw her little music box
but she was nowhere around
He opened it up
It played his favorite song
Yes, it was a familiar sound



Then back he went into time
to find this lady
he loved so very much
She was standing there
reaching out with a familiar touch



I know it was just a movie
But I remember every scene
I stood right where
this forever love took place
And got lost in their dream



This hotel stands on an island
that really is somewhere
in another time you know
There are no cars
Bikes or horse drawn carriage
you must ride
to wherever you want to go



I took a trip
Somewhere In Time
Thank You.....
Beautiful Grand Hotel
With summer breezes
I escaped for a day
and now I bid you farewell
