Here they come runnin'
So, excited too
Well, why shouldn't they be ....
After all ... It's the
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!
All year they have waited
with much anticipation
And now, here it is.....
SUMMER VACATION!!!!
After the very first week back in the fall
All they wanted to know
"Mom, how much longer to school
do we have to go?!?"
Didn't I just send them back .....
YESTERDAY?
NOW, here they are ......
Runnin' through the house and fightin'
"GO OUTSIDE AND PLAY!"
"But, MOM there's nothin' to do"
"Nothing to do?!?!?!
NOTHING TO DO?!?!?!?!
What about all those new toys
We just bought YOU?!?!?"
"MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!
HE JUST HIT MEEEEEEEE!!!!!"
I hear a big shout ......
"OOOOOK!!!
YOU...in your room
AND YOU .... Time out!!
Why are they so quiet now
I think I better investigate
"But MOM....we just wanted to see
if Fido could paint a wall with his tail
AND LOOK..... HE DID GREAT!!!!"
So, after I clean red paint off the dog's tail
And get red paint off my light blue wall
CRRRRRRRASH!!!!!!
Look what just came through the window!!
A BASEBALL!!!!!!!!!!
OH NO ..... What next?!?!
I'm fallin' apart
Please Lord, help me here
When does school start!?!?!?!?!
I have a question
All year I do just fine
But, for the summer ....
From motherhood can I resign?!?!?!
