~*~The Road To No Where~*~
I came upon a road and no one knows where it goes.
I ventured along this lonely road to see.
Surely it cannot be a road to no where.
Little did I know what I would find when I got there.

As I started along this unknown road
I had visions of great things I would see there
And important people I might meet.
Where it took me I did not care.

I drifted along with no thought of tomorrow
On this road I found and much to my sorrow,
Because I had no destination in mind,
I found it truly was a road to no where.

After a while of traveling aimlessly along
I felt empty and so alone.
And began to wonder why I had spent
So much time on this road to no where
Or if a different road for me was meant.

I determined right then
That no more would I go this way
For I saw a vision of what it might be when
I have a purpose for where I go today.

What a difference it has made
When I turned around
And found a road that went some where
And great love and blessings I found
On this road to eternity.
