~The Road Less Taken~ On the road of life we often find intersections Which take us in different directions Than was our intent And what a difference it has meant. The road seemingly straight ahead May soon with other roads merge Bringing choices to which we are led To go with the flow or challenge instead. When roads merge taking the less traveled one Leads to unexpected places along the way With bends leading to vistas of great beauty to see And the better choice proves to be the least traveled one. Speeding along the roads of life Leaves little chance to see The simple and ordinary we are passing by And miss blessings of beauty before our eye. Slow down and take the road least traveled upon And discover the difference it can make In the direction your life can take As God's road map you embark upon.
