~OVERWHELMED~
There are times when we feel overwhelmed.
It may just be an accumulation of the cares of the world
Crashing in and crushing our spirits.
It may be frustration at not being able to freely express
our inner self.
Today may have been one of those days
that gets you down.
After stretching our capacities to the limits
and not feeling appreciated,
A pall is cast over our spirit.
A desperate feeling envelops us
leading to questions about
Our "place" in the scheme of things.
Thoughts swirl in our head whispering to our spirit that
We don't matter and why keep on trying.
Stop, and look around you at your real world.
Look at the friends who look to you
for inspiration and wish
For the joy that seems to permeate your soul.
Look at your accomplishments which point
to the special gifts you possess.
Look within yourself at the caring,
generous and special qualities
You display which enriches the life
of everyone you encounter.
You are made in God's image and He cares for you.
He has a special work for you to do
in your daily walk with Him.
God's love will sustain you
and direct you in all things...joyful or sad.
You make the difference in the lives of many
Who's lives have been enriched by knowing you.
Our days may be filled with disappointment,
frustrations and challenges.
However, JOY does come in the morning
when love fills our heart again.
Remember that each day
is the day that the Lord hath made.
Let us rejoice and be glad in each day
with which we have been blessed.
God is good and He cares.
