A gentle little stream
down the mountainside
This is how the water flows
Over the rocks around the trees
Steadily it grows



The stream expands into a lake
Then a river from this lake
Growing bigger and stronger
each day
A journey it begins to take



But now you see
it doesn't stop there
The ocean is the biggest of all
It goes on forever, you can't
see the end
Starting from a stream so small



Compare this now
to the love I have for you
Like this stream on the mountainside
Slowly it grew stronger each day
Into the ocean that's deep and wide



I didn't know how to explain it
So this was the best I could do
My heart now holds an ocean of love
For no one else, but you
