~The Great Adventures of a Book~

Come with me now won't you
We're going to take a ride
Into the great adventures
A book can hide inside

We'll go to Treasure Island
And find the buried treasure
Then fly deep into outer space
Simply for the pleasure

Then we'll go off into a garden
And walk among the flowers
The colors are so beautiful
We'll stay in there for hours

We can take a covered wagon trip
Out west and pan for gold
Adventures then were so much fun
For children I am told

We could find an enchanted castle
Where a dragon we could slay
Then go off to the circus
And play with clowns all day

Should we visit Mother Goose
And read a nursery rhyme
We could help Bo Peep go find her sheep
We'd have the grandest time

Perhaps we'll go into the mountains
Where there's snow and we can ski
Or we'll travel to the jungle
Where wild animals run free

We could visit cavemen
And learn how they made the wheel
Or ride a big hot air balloon
Wouldn't that be a thrill

Or take a trip to tropic shores
Out by the sand and sea
Where we'll find shells and surf all day
Together, you and me

Imagine all the fun we'll have
As we stop to take a look
At the wonderful adventures
We can find within a book
