~THE STARS COME OUT TO PLAY~

Sun and Moon up in the sky
Night takes over at the end of day
Clouds of cotton candy float by
And the stars come out to play

Little children go to sleep
As sandman sprinkles sand
Nighttime appointments
they must keep
Go visit now, sweet dreamland



As they drift into dreams on high
Now they journey far away
Chase the stars on velvet sky
Sparkle, they do, like glitter spray

Run between the falling stars
Behind the moon they hide
Search to find where they are
Down the moonbeam they slide

The stars come out to play at night
Across the galaxy's playground
Little children in their beds
sleep tight
But in their dreams
they can be found
