I have a box of recipes
But it's not all about food
It's a recipe box filled with love
I can prepare a meal that fits any mood



When I have a friend that is sad
and feeling really down
I get out my recipe box
I begin to look around



Ahhhh....Here is the recipe I need
to make my friend happy and smile
Yes, I cook up a delightful concoction
It's right inside my recipe file



Oh Dear, now I have a friend
that is so very angry and mad
Quick as a wink I find my recipe
for the best laugh you ever had



A friend is anxious
with nerves that are so raw
I have a special recipe for that too
Even a recipe when you feel kind of blah



Anyone can have a recipe box
just like this you know
All that you need is right there
Inside your heart is where you go



It can hold a lot
Keep adding the right kind of recipes
And when a friend really needs you ....
You are a 'chef' with expertise!!!!
