"LITTLE LADY"
Little Lady
Strolling through the park
On this fine summer day
Gentle breezes carry
the song of the skylark
As they flutter by
and fly away
Little Lady
So independent I see
Wasn't it just yesterday
you said, "Carry me?"
Now you want
to be on your own
You think you are
a big girl now, all grown

Little Lady
Try not to grow up so fast
Adulthood will come soon enough
Let your childhood last
I remember
being a little girl too
In such a hurry to grow up
just like you
Little Lady
With that innocent look
in your eyes
Enjoy each day
Your whole life before you lies
Yes, my Little Lady
let's keep each day
as a precious memory
When you grow up
we will remember
our strolls in the park
Just you and me
