Life's Journey
We should savor every moment
we have upon the earth...
as time goes by so quickly,
we must understand it's worth.
The special times are fleeting,
as footprints in the snow...
we're here for just a moment,
then it's time for us to go.
Be gracious on the journey,
build bridges to God's love...
so others too, will follow
the path He's set for us.
We each can be a lighthouse,
shining bright from far and near...
as Jesus loved, be loving,
and see miracles appear.
And when this journey's over,
a new one will begin...
as Jesus stands to greet you,
and says, "Well done, my friend."
