A life cut short in its prime
A heart stilled in the night
The reason why is unknown
But his music shines in the light
An emptiness in our hearts
A soul lost in time
A grieving friend remembers
Like grapes, aging on a vine
A memory that can't be stilled
A shadow fills the room
A shape of friendship lingers
Like a sweet,unfinished tune
Why god took you from us so soon
Is a reason we'll never know
A reason that burns in our hearts
When cold winds start to blow
When we meet again in heaven
A heavenly star will glow
Our questions will be answered
And once again,the music will flow
Remember, my dearest friend
That friendship never fades
Tho your body may be gone
Your soul is resting in the shade
Till we meet again my friend
You are always in my heart
Our friendship will last forever
Your friendship left its mark
