I give you my heart.
Though it contains many a part,
I give it to you whole
With all the love it can hold.
Take each part of my heart
Examine it to see if it be true
That within you will find
Love tucked into each part for you.
My heart can be broken and mended
When I lose your love but well intended
Words can reconnect so it is the same as before
Knowing happiness and joy as our lives are blended.
I give you my heart full of love and free
So you may accept the love sent from me.
I wish your love in return
From a heart full of love for which I yearn.
A heart full of love is a precious gift
So take it and keep it always
For you are in my heart to stay
With loving thoughts each and every day.
