Happy thoughts are mine today
For I just had a wonderful day
Surrounded by family of mine
As our hearts with love did entwine.
Happy thoughts are easy to come by
If you let yourself go
And dwell on the many things that bless you so
Given freely even though we never know why.
Even when sad and alone
We can change our feelings.
When a happy memory into our heart comes stealing
It brings a smile and then all sadness is gone.
Happy thoughts are a choice we make in life
To remember the good things
Which are greater by far than the bad.
Thus, we can smile and our heart sings.
So, smile and have happy thoughts, too.
This works for me and it will work for you
