~GYPSY HEART~

The uneasiness inside of me
looking for an escape to find
How can I calm my gypsy heart
Pain and fear so deeply entwined



Captured once, but torn apart
A gypsy heart that wants to run
And now....
Afraid my heart is completely undone



Restless spirit I cannot ease
Tears of pain, I want to free
I hear his call in the wind,
"Come away with me"



Oh, the agony I feel within
Stream of life passed by
with untamed rush
His words and touch so tender
He brings my gypsy heart
to a soothing hush



Life did not treat him well
With a gypsy heart running too
Looking for escape
Love for him had been untrue



He frees my spirit like the wind
There is a part of my heart
he has found
Reaching so deep inside of me
Now his heart and mine
so tightly bound



Two broken spirits, each other did find
He began calling....
Yes, calling out to me
Our gypsy hearts calm at last
Now together, running free....
