Don't let the ads fool ya
You hear them everyday
Only your hair dresser knows for sure
So color away that gray
Well, I say, keep each and everyone
'Cause this is what I've learned
You fought fairly for them
And they were rightly earned
Now, gray hair is a crown of glory
That's what the Proverbs say
But only if you got gray hair
In a righteous way
So hide not, the beauty of your hair
You worked hard for each gray strand
Don't let them tell you, you're getting old
Be bold and take a firm stand
Every gray hair shows wisdom
You have gathered much through the years
You're a woman of distinction
You have conquered many fears
An Angel with a halo, you are
That radiates silver about your head
A beautiful example of perfection
Don't let that gray be something you dread
