"GIFTS"

I saw the sunrise today
It was the most beautiful thing to see
Thank You, for my gift of sight
I can enjoy
wonderful days, breathtaking nights



I heard the song of the Whippoorwill
How could I enjoy the music
without my gift of sound
Symphony of nature
The music on earth abound



The sweetness of honey
for my mouth to savor
The bounty of earth gives
never ending flavor



What is that wonderful smell
A blessing, indeed
Not only to see
But walk through the garden
Twice the beauty as the fragrance
surrounds me



See, Listen, Taste, Smell
Feel the warmth of my hand
As I reach out to you, my friend
Come, enjoy the beauty of this land



Sometimes we forget
to just say, "Thank You"
He sends his love
down to you and me



The most wonderful of gifts
given to us....are free

So let us not forget everyday
To look to the heavens above
And say, "Thank You"
as we pray
