~*~Gift Of the Day~*~

Thank you God for the gift of this day
With all the love that has come my way
And not only for love but time to give
To others as long as I live.

This day I have the gift of friendship
Which fills my life with joy
And companionship sweet
As we gather around the table and eat.

This day has given me the gift of hope
For better days to come
For blessings that God has sent my way
Each and every day.

The gift of life is mine
Each day I see the sunrise
And open my eyes
To find ways to give this love of mine.
