When you reach a point an stop lying
About your age and begin bragging

About hip replacement and new knees.
How you got skin cancer and diabetes.

When you can hardly see or hear anything
An take 20 different pills each morning

Poor circulation is making your skin itch
An cold hands and cold feet always twitch

When you get easily winded or dizzy
Can't remember as your mind's in a tizzy

A shot of youth you'd like to refill your cup
But everything either leaks or dries up

To find a doc you'll need to wait in line
And then it really seems a waste of time

How did we get over the hill and not stop
Must have missed a pill for staying on top

We learned to laugh at troubles in life early
So we could when hair's no longer curly

Some try to hold back the sands of time
With massages, and facials with lime

Using lots of lotions and magic potions
Seems a bit silly and a waste of motion

Not me, I want the people to know
How I got these wrinkles upon my brow

Well my friend, we've traveled a long way
And many roads weren't paved as we say

But being young and active was beautiful
But you'll find being old more comfortable

We can now bow & happily tell our age
Cuz we've all become a bit of a sage
