The bowl is full of the right harvest
Of fruits of all kinds and nuts as well
Which remind us of God's provision
And perfect love.
We see the golden apples glow
And the delicious red
Resting in the bowl just so
With nuts scattered in between.
We taste the fruit's sweetness
And know we are truly blessed
By our heavenly Father's
Love and perfectness.
We harvest the fruit from our labor
of planting the seed
And working to remove the weed
But God sent the sunshine and the rain
That brought forth the fruit blessing us again.
Thank you, God for the bountiful harvest
Of fruit and grain to our table.
For this harvest of plenty you were able
And we are truly blest.
