A friend you have been
For many years,
Through laughter, card games,
Dinners and tears.

You have been a source of strength
In ways I can never repay,
Your steadfastness, tenderness,
And comforting ways.

I feel honored and so blessed
To have a friend so true,
My life has been enriched
My dear because of you.
