~Four Legged Friend~

At my feet he patiently lays,
My little friend hardly ever disobeys.
If I say sit, roll, or stay,
My four legged friend does what I say.

He wags his tail with pure delight,
As he wakes me with kisses to the morning light.
He guards me and keeps me safe from harm,
And woo's me with all his doggie charm.

He's more to me than just my dog,
A Friend, A Companion, sent straight from God.
My four legged friend means the world to me,
He's an Honorary Member of my family.

I'll keep my dog until his dying day,
When Jesus will call my dog away.
Back to the Master he will go,
My four legged Friend,, I love You sooo.

But until your time on Earth is through,
I will always take very good care of you.
My Four Legged Friend, you have won my heart,
And "some people" say dogs ain't smart..
