~Flighty Little Butterfly~

Hello my little butterfly
And how are you today
You flit around from here to there
Just trying to find your way.



I watched you as you flew on by
In search of a little shade
But then you landed on my arm
You didn't seem too afraid.



You stayed there for the longest time
Were you looking for some rest
Were you tired of just flitting around
Did you think I would protest?



You're more than welcome to hang around
I enjoy watching you
You open and close your beautiful wings
Showing me your radiant hues.



So rest upon my arm for now
Catch your breath then move along
I'm glad you decided to land on me
Before you carried on.
