She is the one called Earth Angel
From heaven she looks around
Then opens up her rainbow
and sends the colors to the ground
Touching all that is beautiful
Giving to our eyes a delight
Colors from the rainbow
She sends down while in flight
So every single flower
is gifted with its own hue
The trees and grass
are given shades of green
Each body of water reflects
the sky's shades of blue
All the feathered creatures
have a color of their own
Their beauty fills the earth
while through the wind they are blown
She picks each little butterfly
and puts a color on their wings
Her work is so enjoyable
While she's busy you can hear
the song she sings
Not only does she work
around the earth and in the air
But, dips down deep into the ocean
You'll find her colors there
All the colors you can think of
To the fish she now sends
So many different shades there are
The rainbow never ends
I bet you never knew
about this special angel
She is the one that gives us color
each and everyday
And in the evening
her grand finale of the sunset
Will take your breath away
Now here is something to think about
The beauty of the rainbow could be enjoyed
only by those in heaven above
But, it is shared with us here on earth
Sent down are the colors of love
