~DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER~
(Or, by what other people say)
I think people are like books
You can see the cover
But when you look deep inside
You never know what you may discover
If someone reads a book
Then tells you what it said
Do you accept that as the truth
If the book you have not read
If they tell you all about
what's inside
Do you just take their word
Should you take it as the truth
Of course not, that would be absurd
Now what if they speak
about a person
Someone you have never met
Get to know them for yourself
That is something you can never regret
I began to think to myself
Do I just judge someone and doubt
Or should I get to know them
and for myself find out
Many things were just not so
What I had found
was a beautiful person inside
Draw your own conclusions
Then for yourself you must decide
We owe it to ourselves
to get to know one another
Don't take someone's word
Take a look......
