WHO LET THE DOG OUT?
Nobody did
I just snuck out and then.
I hid
Bet you think I'm sleepin'
But I'm not
I'm just pretendin'
Hopin' you forgot
To latch the screen door really tight
So I can sneak out
and prowl through the night
Now if you see me escape
and call to me,
"Come here"
I'll take off runnin'
as soon as you get near
I let you get as close as you can
'cause I just think that's fun
Soon as you go to grab me...
That's right...
I'm gonna run
Then I'll look back at you
I love to do this everyday
But, you get really mad at me
"Don't you like to play?"
Finally it gets boring
I don't want to roam
So I take my sweet time
as I slowly stroll back home
You open up the door
and you're not happy with me
'cause I can tell
I just walk in lookin up at you
waggin' my tail
Time for bed
See that content look on my face
as I curl up on the floor
That's because I'm plannin' my next escape
when you open up that door
