~ DIFFERENT .... BUT THAT'S OKAY ~


We may be different in, oh so many ways
But we need to try out each of life's new phase
If we stay with only the same
Then same is where we will remain



And I would never get to know you
Your opinion, the different things you do
How could you get to know about me
Think about it, don't you agree?



We all want peace and joy
Neither of us likes things that annoy
I'm not perfect, are you?
We don't like lies, we want what is true



Happiness is what we seek
Haughtiness not becoming, better to be meek
There are some things that make us mad
And we do agree on the things that make us sad



We want to be near
To help ease a friend's fear
For them we want to be strong
If we see something is wrong



We can agree to disagree
We both want justice and a life that's free
Sometimes you're like me in the things you do
Sometimes I do things just like you



Even though we are not perfect
We do have each other's respect
So sit here by my side for a while
Let's reflect on all this and share a smile



These are times I wouldn't want to miss
Because not many people can do this
All they see is different and time they won't spend
I see different, but I also see a FRIEND!!!!!
