denim in your life
To be rugged and strong
To fight for what you believe in
To make right, what is wrong
To stand up against stormy whether
To know when you must be stern
To know when to step back
And to know when it's your turn
But ....
May you still have enough lace
To be gentle and giving
To know when to have fun
And never stop living
To understand those who need you
To offer a hand and to be kind
Because the combination
of denim and lace
is sometimes hard to find
However, with you, my dear friend
That has never been the case
What I have found ....
