Everyone should remember
to take some time each day
to let someone know you care
in your own special way.
Show them that you care.
Let them hear you say
how much you appreciate them
today and every day.
For you can make a difference
in someone's daily pace
with a helping hand, a thank you
or a smile upon your face.
Maybe just a polite hello
or a friendly telephone ring
can mean so very much
and they won't cost you a thing.
Just try it a few times
and I know that you will see
how good it makes you feel inside
from the reactions you receive.
Smile and the world smiles back,
it's better to give than to receive;
for when you give yourself to others,
many times over you will retrieve.
