You are in my small circle of special friends
I know I can always depend on to the end.
you are a special chum of mine
Who keeps in touch all the time.
Some friends are more like acquaintances.
You enjoy their friendship in a casual way
But do not keep in touch every day.
Nor do you share your deepest feelings per chance.
Within the smaller circle of friends
Are those on whom you can always depend
And share your deepest thoughts and feelings
With no fear of betrayal and revealing.
A wonderful circle of two or three
Such friends as these
Special friends are there for me
Whom I count very dear and close to my heart.
You, my friend, are of the special kind
Of friend who is the best I could find
And I love and honor the special place
You have in my heart that time cannot erase.
