Thanksgiving
As the holiday approaches,
I look at my blessings.
I have so much to be thankful for.
I have family and friends who love me for who I am,
A nice warm home, good food,
who could ask for more?
I am thankful for the things that go wrong in my life,
Because of them,
I appreciate the little things that are right.
I appreciate the sunshine that filters through my window,
Some of the world lives without the comfort of having light.
I am thankful for my children who give me motivation,
They keep my sights focused on the things that matter.
I am thankful for the ladies here in WWAUS,
I would be so lonely without your daily chatter.
I am thankful that God has granted me the ability to write,
To put my thoughts into words for others to read.
I am thankful that I have enough strength to work,
That I can provide the things my family might need.
These are just a few of the things I give thanks for,
The list is very long and I couldn't begin to count them all here.
Most of all, just know that I love each one of you,
In my heart, you will always remain dear!
