~ BEYOND THE NEXT MOUNTAIN ~

Today is one of those days down in the valley.
Some feel the valley is full of woe
For it is there they are troubled so.
For me it is where I feel peace and tranquility.

In the Valley I may walk through the shadow of death
Or I may walk by a stream with water crystal clear.
In the valley I lift my eyes to my God and He hears my cries
As I make known to Him my joys and special request.

God will walk beside me and help carry my heavy load.
He says, "This too shall pass from thee."
Soon I will be on the mountain top again
As I leave troubles behind me.

Hope springs in my heart as to the mountain top I rise
And view the glories waiting for me on the other side.
Wondrous opportunities wait for me to serve my Lord
When I look to the other side of the mountain
with the love of God shining through my eyes.

On the other side of the mountain will be Glory Land
Where my God and I will walk hand in hand.
I shall reap my reward and share
in the wondrous beauty there
As I am reunited with my loved ones
and sing with the angels
sitting at the foot of my Jesus so fair.
