~Before You Sleep~
Before you go to sleep tonight
Go outside and find a star
We could never count
how many there are
When you find the one
that you want to wish upon
Make a wish on that same star
every night
That is what you do
How will you find it every time
Your little angel is keeping an eye
on that star, just for you
Then in the night
when you look for it again
Be very quiet...don't speak
You'll feel a breeze ......
That is her wing against your cheek
And you will feel the touch
of her tender affection
As she turns your head
in the right direction
No matter how far
She will show you
your star.....
And that My Dear Friend
is your very own star forever
to keep......
Rest now.....
That's the star
your angel will remember
while you sleep
