~BEAUTY AND THE DOVE~
A dove flying from far away
Saw Beauty.....
This is where he came to land
Beauty was touched with what she saw
To the dove she reached out her hand
Pure white he was
Just like fresh fallen snow
Wings as light as air
He was the Dove of Peace
Looking for what was beautiful everywhere
Taking flight
searching the earth below
All that is beautiful is where
he wanted to go
Beauty and Peace side by side
Oh, to be able to find these things
far and wide
Then perhaps all of our loved ones
could come home
Then perhaps weapons of destruction
could be gone
Then perhaps all sad things
could disappear from our sight
Then perhaps.....
Yes, just perhaps.....
The candle around the world
would shine forever bright
Wherever you would see
Beauty with her Dove
You would see
mankind joining hands in peace
and hearts filled with love
