I sit here on the shore
Looking across the sea
There are visions of you my love
sailing the waves with me
The sun is shining down on us
It's a beautiful summer day
The water is so blue
as it splashes around
filling the air with salty spray
The wind takes hold of the
boat's white sails
Drifting away from the shore
Not a cloud in the sky
where birds spread their wings
towards the heavens they soar
Twirling in the air
Putting on an entertaining show
Dolphins jump up as high as they can
from the sea below
It's a picture perfect setting
As I look across the sea
Only one thing is still missing
I am waiting for you
to be here with me
