~A SPECIAL FATHER~


How do I find the words
to thank a man such as you
In my years of growing up
you lovingly guided me through



It was with this love
and understanding
My life, you helped mold
Dad....
You are a man with a heart
of the purest gold

In this busy world we live....
for me you had the time
Your advice was always the best
I give thanks to the Lord for you
because I have been blest




And even though I'm older now
Still with each passing year
I knew I could count on you
You've always been right here

I learned by your example
Kindness you showed to everyone
What a treasure you would be
for any daughter or son




So, just how do I say,
"Thank You"
To the Wonderful Dad you are
You are my inspiration
You are my shining star
I Love You
