Have you ever noticed
when life deals out too many things
And you think you're not going
to make it through
Turn around and take a look
There stands your
Angel without wings

It could be someone in your family
Perhaps a neighbor, even a stranger
or your very best friend
But, there's no doubt about it
The Lord watches over us
A gift He will send

Yes, I say they are a gift
Now you may wonder why
A knock at your door one day
Your best friend.....
How did she know to come
at that very moment
As you sit alone and cry

The car wouldn't start
There's an appointment
What are you going to do
The telephone rings
It is your brother or sister asking
Can I do anything for you

What about the poor woman
with children to feed and no job
She's done all she can,
there's nothing more
Then finding bags of groceries
when she opens her front door

Yes, it was her neighbor
that knew her plight
Just from their heart
they wanted to help
make things right

It's not that they have
to "do" anything
Sometimes,
it is only......
What they might "say,"
that can put a smile on your face
and make your whole day

Suppose someone just says
the right words....
at the right time
Did they not lift your heart
because they were so kind

Angels without wings
Walk this earth everyday
And I believe
every single one of us
has been touched in some
special way

It may be something big
or maybe something small
But, whatever this life brings
Take a look around
You will see walking among us
